They operate as a small, highly talent\-dense team with a strong focus on ownership, speed, and technical excellence. ### **About the Role** Our client is looking for a **front\-end leaning Founding Software Engineer** to help build and scale **complex data\-capturing and processing workflows** across web and desktop environments. This is a **high\-impact, early engineering role** where the engineer will work closely with the founding team, own projects end\-to\-end, and help define engineering best practices from the ground up. The role offers significant autonomy and direct influence over both product direction and technical architecture. ### **What You’ll Do** * Build and scale complex data workflows across **web applications (React, Next.js)** and **desktop tools (Python)** * Design and optimize **high\-throughput data pipelines** operating under heavy load * Collaborate closely with founders to define product strategy and ship features quickly * Own projects end\-to\-end, from design through production * Establish engineering best practices and support future team growth ### **Tech Stack** * **Frontend:** TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js * **Backend:** Node.js, Python * **Infrastructure:** Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch * **Cloud:** AWS, GCP ### **What They’re Looking For** * Strong experience building **production\-grade web applications** , with a frontend focus * Solid full\-stack experience, including backend development with **Node.js and/or Python** * Experience working with **data\-intensive systems** or high\-throughput pipelines * Comfort operating in fast\-paced, early\-stage startup environments * Strong ownership mindset and problem\-solving skills * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills ### **Nice to Have** * Experience in early\-stage startups or founding engineering teams * Background in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or internal tooling * Exposure to AI, ML, or data platforms ### **Compensation \& Details** * **Salary:** USD $60,000 – $90,000 (based on experience) * **Equity:** Competitive equity package * **Location:** Remote (LATAM\-based) * **Work Hours:** U.S. business hours * **Visa Sponsorship:** Not available ### **Why This Opportunity?** * Opportunity to build infrastructure powering **cutting\-edge AI systems** * Work closely with a **world\-class founding team** * High ownership, real impact, and long\-term growth potential * Competitive compensation and equity
