SAP Integration Data Engineer

If this way of working resonates with you, come join us. **What you will do:** * Develop and maintain scalable and resilient data pipelines, based on Spark/Databricks, ensuring availability and reliability for AI applications. * Implement data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment logic from SAP and other sources. * Support the architect and data scientists in data preparation for model features and AI agents. * Automate data ingestion via APIs, CDC (Change Data Capture), SAP integrations, and real\-time streams. * Contribute with best practices for versioning, testing, and reusability in notebooks and jobs. **What we are looking for:** * Solid experience in Data Engineering with Spark (preferably Databricks). * Proficiency in languages such as PySpark, SQL, and Python. * Knowledge of pipeline orchestration (e.g., Databricks Workflows, Airflow, dbt) and versioning with Git. * Familiarity with data structures and models of the SAP ecosystem (even if superficial, or willingness to learn). * Knowledge of performance tuning, caching, and partitioning practices in Spark. **Nice to have:** * Prior experience with SAP DataSphere, SAP BTP, or data extraction via SAP OData/CDS Views. * Experience with Delta Lake storage, Hive Metastore, Unity Catalog. * Basic knowledge of MLflow, data ingestion for models, or feature stores. **Where you will work:** * This is a hybrid position, at our office at ACATE in Florianópolis, SC. **Hiring models:** * Cooperative. * PJ. **Benefits of being a Zallper:** Meal/Food Allowance Caju multi\-benefit card (credit format), offering flexibility for everyday needs.
