We work with large\-scale data and modern technologies, delivering solutions that transform information into strategic value for our clients. **About the Role** We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer who will contribute to the design and construction of the solution, drive the implementation of GenAI agents, and ensure the adoption of best practices across the organization.  **YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The primary responsibilities of the Senior Data Engineer role are to: **Key Tasks:** ·       Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions and systems using Python on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). ·       Drive the development and deployment of intelligent agents using the  **Google Agent Development Kit**  and Vertex AI, integrating them into business workflows. ·       Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and refine solution requirements for data and GenAI products. ·       Author high\-quality, efficient code to contribute new features to the codebase, evolve existing features, and fix defects. ·       Facilitate communication of technical principles, solutions, and recommendations with business stakeholders, product managers, and other technical leaders. ·       Review code contributions from team members to provide constructive and actionable feedback, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards. ·       Collaborate with Data Scientists, Principal Engineers, and other engineering teams to ensure a cohesive and coherent architecture. ·       Work with teams to resolve conflicts which occur during the software and product development lifecycle. ·       Mentor junior engineers and aid in their journey to become passionate experts in the craft of outstanding data engineering products. **Qualification \& Competencies:** ·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. ·       Ability to communicate fluently and independently in Portuguese and English, both (oral and written) ·       Strong proficiency in  **Python**  for data engineering, including expertise with libraries and frameworks for data manipulation (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and asynchronous programming. ·       Demonstrated experience with  **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**  core services, such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow. ·       Proven experience with the  **Google Agent Development Kit**  and building/deploying GenAI agents or conversational AI solutions on GCP. ·       Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data warehouses and databases, such as  **BigQuery** , Spanner, or Postgres. ·       Knowledge of key architectural patterns for GenAIOps and MLOps, with an understanding of how to operationalize Large Language Models (LLMs). ·       Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts (GKE) and experience containerizing applications (Docker). ·       Familiarity with Observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, OpenTelemetry) to ensure system reliability. ·       Demonstrated experience as a productive reviewer of code, with an ability to coach others on the differentiation of style and correctness. ·       Experience with the git version control system and related tools such as GitHub or GitLab and CI/CD concepts (e.g., GitHub Actions). ·       Experience working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams. **Nice\-to\-Haves:** ·       Demonstrated experience with the Go programming language. ·       Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. ·       Experience with utilizing data formats and interface description languages such as Protobuf or Avro. ·       Knowledge of LangChain or similar frameworks for orchestrating LLM workflows. ·       Experience with geospatial data structures and algorithms. ·       Knowledge of the agricultural domain. **Job Information:**         ·     Employment type: PJ         ·    Work format: Hybrid with on\-site visits to the client's office.        ·    Compensation: Competitive PJ Contract **Apply now and come build data solutions with TDW!**
