Lead Data DevOps Engineer (Azure)

We are looking for a Lead Data DevOps Engineer (Azure) to lead the design and enhancement of our data infrastructure and workflows. You will manage scalable data solutions on the Azure cloud platform, collaborating closely with data engineering and other teams to ensure efficient data pipelines, system stability, and optimized performance. Join us to drive innovation in data operations and cloud infrastructure. **Responsibilities** * Design and maintain data infrastructure leveraging Azure services including Data Lake (ADLSv2\), Databricks, Synapse, and Data Factory * Partner with data engineering teams to build and optimize data workflows and pipelines * Automate data operations using Python to improve reliability and operational efficiency * Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to improve data system scalability, reliability, and performance * Deploy and maintain data tools such as Apache Spark and Apache Kafka in cloud and on\-premises environments * Monitor data platforms to identify and address performance or scaling issues * Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges in data platforms and pipelines **Requirements** * Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles * At least 1 year experience leading and managing development teams * Advanced Python programming skills and experience with batch processing workflows * Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets * Extensive hands\-on experience with Azure cloud services for data infrastructure * Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation * Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar * Familiarity with data processing and workflow automation tools like Spark, Airflow, or R * Advanced Linux operating system skills including scripting and system administration * Solid understanding of network protocols including TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT * Fluent English communication skills at B2 level or higher **Nice to have** * Experience with other cloud providers like AWS or GCP * Knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes * Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor * Exposure to Big Data technologies and advanced analytics * Experience with implementing cloud data governance and security
