What you'll do We're looking for a **Senior Android Developer** to help scale Clara's Android experience and shape the future of financial software in Latin America. You'll be a technical expert on the **Mobile Engineering – Android** team, setting best practices, delivering high\-impact features, and mentoring fellow developers. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver fast, secure, and delightful mobile experiences. In this role, you will: * Drive Clara's Android technical roadmap in collaboration with Engineering leadership. * Architect modular, reusable components using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android libraries. * Lead development initiatives of new product features while improving app reliability, performance, and maintainability. * Promote and uphold high engineering standards through code reviews and mentorship. * Contribute to hiring and onboarding as we scale the Android team. * Advocate for a product\-driven, quality\-focused mobile engineering culture. Who you are *We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.* Must haves * 7\+ years of professional Android development experience, including 2\+ years in a senior or technical leadership role. * Deep expertise with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture). * Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger. * Familiarity with performance tuning, crash reporting, and CI/CD pipelines. * Working proficiency in English and Spanish. * Strong communication skills and a track record of mentoring or coaching engineers.
