Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS)

You will create and optimize scalable, secure data platforms, lead technical strategies, and mentor your team. Apply to be part of our forward\-thinking team. **Responsibilities** * Lead design, deployment, and enhancement of AWS cloud data infrastructures such as ECS, RDS, Athena, Glue, and Redshift * Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation * Work with data engineering and analytics teams to develop optimized data pipelines with Python and AWS Glue * Define and maintain CI/CD pipeline best practices using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline * Drive improvements in system scalability, reliability, and cost\-efficiency * Integrate advanced data processing tools like Apache Airflow and Apache Spark EMR * Manage escalations and perform root cause analysis on AWS infrastructure incidents * Develop secure IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks * Lead capacity planning, resource allocation, and cost management * Mentor engineers and provide leadership on AWS data infrastructure * Collaborate with leadership to set priorities and project roadmaps * Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning **Requirements** * 5\+ years of experience in Data Engineering or DevOps with cloud infrastructure focus * Minimum 1 year of leadership experience * Strong Python coding skills for automation and workflow management * Advanced SQL knowledge for complex data handling * Extensive experience with AWS services including Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, and S3 * Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation * Proven ability to maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline * Experience with distributed data processing and orchestration tools like Apache Spark and Airflow * Solid Linux system administration and container orchestration skills (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS) * In\-depth understanding of cloud networking protocols and troubleshooting in AWS * Experience managing streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka * Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience * English proficiency at B2\+ level **Nice to have** * Experience with Azure or GCP cloud environments * Familiarity with statistical and data visualization tools like R, Tableau, or Power BI * Knowledge of advanced CI/CD and configuration management tools * Background in secure hybrid cloud and on\-premises architecture design * Hands\-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS/ECS
