Senior Azure Platform Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Platform Engineer (Azure) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a Platform Engineer for a pro\-code Agent Platform that serves a diverse group of colleagues—ranging from novice business analysts to expert data scientists and principal engineers. The role requires the ability to flex between technical engineering of the platform and hands\-on working knowledge, creating cloud solutions and pro\-code AI agent applications as a "Customer Zero". You will be an engineering and operations developer for an Azure\-based platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and compliant for AI agents and data applications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Implement the design, engineering, security, compliance, and release management of the enterprise pro\-code AI agent platform. * Develop highly available, scalable, and reproducible Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). * Implement CI/CD pipelines for platform components and configurations. * Implement robust controls across identity (RBAC), network (VNets/NSGs), and data protection aligned to regulatory standards. * Operationalize Microsoft Foundry and related AI/ML services to enable agentic applications. * Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and incident response to optimize performance and cost. * Manage global environments and self\-service tenants while coordinating change governance. * Collaborate with the platform team to maintain technical documentation and drive platform adoption. #### **What we are looking for** **Must\-Have:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. * 3\+ years of professional experience, with at least 1 year hands\-on with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity). * Demonstrated experience using Terraform (or equivalent IaC) and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions. * Proficiency in scripting and programming for automation using Python or Bash. * Proven ability to implement cloud security best practices and compliance controls. * Experience with agentic AI technologies such as Microsoft Foundry or Agent 365\. * Superior problem\-solving and communication skills. **Nice\-to\-Have:** * Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, MCPs, and agentic application patterns. * Familiarity with telemetry and observability tools like OpenTelemetry or Langfuse. * Background with big data and distributed systems (Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes). * Knowledge of data/analytics services such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Dataiku. * Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or HashiCorp Terraform Associate. #### **Who you are** * **Grit\-Driven:** You show grit when faced with technical issues and don't rest until you understand the root cause. * **Analytical:** You have the ability to perform complex data analysis and incident triage. * **Collaborative:** You enjoy regular interaction with cross\-functional partnerships to drive user success. * **Sustainable Builder:** You are committed to building reliable, transparent, interoperable, and sustainable enterprise\-grade platforms. * **Detail\-Oriented:** You take ownership of lifecycle management, including run\-books and training curricula. * **Innovation\-Focused:** You have a passion for modern infrastructure automation and empowering teams to move faster. **What Appnovation Offers** * Challenging and rewarding work with real impact * Direct Access to Cutting\-Edge AI Platforms * Diverse and Inclusive Culture * Growth opportunities for personal and professional development * A collaborative and innovative work environment where your ideas are valued * Exposure to exciting projects and high\-profile clients * Supportive work environment with access to company leaders Thank you for your interest in a career with Appnovation Technologies!
