JAVA CAMUNDA Developer

**JAVA DEVELOPER (CAMUNDA 8\)** **Mandatory Location: São Paulo, Brazil** **Work Model: 2 days per week onsite \+ remaining days remote** **Profile Summary** Developer with hands‑on experience in Camunda 8 and Java Spring Boot, specializing in the design and implementation of BPMN processes, microservices, and service‑oriented architectures. Strong background in agile methodologies, automated testing, continuous integration, and technical documentation. Ability to work in international environments, collaborate with business stakeholders, and take ownership of software quality and delivery. **Main Responsibilities :** • Develop new components and maintain/evolve existing ones based on team priorities and the product roadmap. • Contribute to software quality assurance, best practices, and agile methodology. • Define and implement automated tests. • Mentor and support junior profiles. • Collaborate with business sponsors to ensure solutions meet requirements. • Take ownership of software delivery, ensuring quality and scope compliance. • Contribute to technical design and system architecture documentation. • Work with partner technology teams. • Refine requirements and user stories with the team. • Produce technical documentation and presentations. • Provide support to the team, the product, and the Camunda Chapter. **Technical Requirements :** • Practical experience designing and implementing Camunda 8 BPMN processes. • Advanced knowledge of Java 11\+ and Spring (4\+), with strong OOP principles. • Extensive experience with Spring Boot. • Experience with Spring Cloud Config, Spring Data JPA, and Spring MVC. • Design and development of SOA/microservices architectures. • Automated testing experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber. • Strong CI/CD experience. • Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and understanding of the software lifecycle. • Good understanding of RESTful APIs. • English level B2 or higher. **Soft Skills :** • Ability to work in dynamic environments. • Teamwork and collaboration. • Proactive, motivated, and results‑oriented. • Pragmatic mindset. • Adaptability to diverse technical responsibilities. • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. • High productivity and strong time management. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. **Nice to Have :** • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • CI/CD tools configuration. • ELK (Elasticsearch, Kibana) or other NoSQL databases. • Basic knowledge of Spanish.
