The Link Exchange team collects and normalizes telemetry data from a wide variety of sources, including many different device types, Computer\-Aided Dispatch (CAD), and other Public Safety systems. This information is then intelligently consolidated and supplied to the end user, providing crucial insights for situational awareness. **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced **Senior Full\-Stack Engineer** to join our team. You will be a key driver in designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's core products and systems. This role requires a strong full\-stack background, blending deep backend expertise in Java with modern frontend capabilities (React/Angular) to build highly scalable, high\-availability applications. **What You'll Do (Responsibilities)** * Full\-Stack Development: Design, build, test, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions using Java (J2EE, Spring) on the backend and React or Angular on the frontend. * System Architecture: Actively participate in architectural decisions and API design, ensuring solutions meet organizational needs for performance, scalability, and reliability. * Technical Leadership: Develop innovative solutions, champion software engineering best practices (design patterns, clean code), and mentor other engineers. * System Integration: Perform seamless integration of software and hardware components to maintain throughput and program consistency. * DevOps \& CI/CD: Contribute to and maintain build and release pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) to improve development velocity and reliability. * Collaboration: Work closely with cross\-functional teams (product, design, QA) within an Agile development methodology. * Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical structures and user documentation. Basic Requirements * 6\+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of building highly scalable and available systems. * Backend Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, and the Spring framework. * Frontend Expertise: Hands\-on experience building modern, data\-driven frontend applications with React or Angular. * Core CS Fundamentals: Deep understanding of Object\-Oriented Concepts, Data Structures, and API design (REST, SOA). * Web Technologies: Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and internet protocols. * Agile Experience: Proven experience working effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment. * Communication: Excellent cross\-functional communication skills with advanced English proficiency (written, spoken, and reading). **Nice\-to\-Haves (Preferred Qualifications)** * Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure (AWS or GCP also valuable). * Cloud Databases: Experience with cloud\-native databases like Azure Cosmos DB or DynamoDB. * DevOps: Practical experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD tools. * Real\-time Tech: Knowledge of WebSockets or Server\-Side Events (SSE). * Modern Frontend: Familiarity with Vue.js and SASS.
