This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in Brazil. **Position Summary** The **ServiceNow Senior Developer** is responsible for leading and executing technical implementations on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and high\-quality solutions aligned with Rimini Street standards, ServiceNow best practices, and approved architecture. This role acts as a technical authority within projects, supporting architects, business analysts, and project managers, while ensuring technical governance, preventing technical debt, and delivering robust enterprise\-grade solutions. **Essential Duties \& Responsibilities** * Lead the design, development, customization, and optimization of ServiceNow platform components, including Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Notifications, ACLs, Script Includes, and related artifacts * Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine following architectural and governance guidelines * Implement complex workflows and automations with strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability * Develop and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other supported technologies * Perform data modeling and mapping for CMDB and other ServiceNow tables, ensuring data integrity and compliance with platform standards * Translate functional and business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions * Support solution architects in technical design decisions, proposing alternatives and improvements when applicable * Validate technical estimates, development approaches, risks, dependencies, and implementation constraints * Ensure solutions comply with ServiceNow best practices, Rimini Street internal standards, and contractual boundaries * Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and act as a guardian of technical quality across projects * Create, maintain, and ensure completeness of technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle * Support integrated testing, defect analysis, root cause identification, and resolution * Ensure proper evidence and documentation of test executions and technical validations * Actively collaborate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand\-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives * Serve as a technical reference for junior and mid\-level developers, supporting their technical growth * Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders * Participate in technical workshops, requirement sessions, demos, and customer\-facing meetings when required * Support Go\-Live activities, post\-go\-live clarifications, and transitions to support teams, including walkthroughs and knowledge transfer * Assist in critical incident analysis and root cause investigations when needed **Additional Duties \& Responsibilities** * Support and evaluate ServiceNow licensing usage to ensure efficient and compliant utilization * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and technical maturity evolution * Support CI/CD practices and automated testing initiatives where applicable * Other job\-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required **Education \& Certification** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields * ServiceNow certifications CSA (Certified System Administrator), CAD (Certified Application Developer), and CIS ITSM are mandatory for senior level * Additional certifications such as CIS (HRSD, CSM, Discovery, Performance Analytics) and ITIL 4 Foundation are highly desirable **Experience** * Minimum of 10\+ years of hands\-on experience developing, configuring, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform. * Strong experience working in enterprise and consulting environments. **Qualification \& Skills** * Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration and configuration * Strong proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and XML * Extensive experience developing integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server) * Strong experience with ITSM, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB * Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies * Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills * Ability to manage complexity, technical risks, and multiple priorities effectively * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency **Desired Qualifications** * Experience with CI/CD tools and practices for ServiceNow (ATF, Jenkins, GlideFast, etc.) * Strong experience with Now Experience, UI Builder, and Workspace development * Knowledge of performance optimization and platform governance best practices * Experience supporting global or enterprise\-scale ServiceNow implementations **Language** * Fluency in both English \& Portuguese is required. **Location** * Brazil, remote **Why Rimini Street?** We are looking for talented, passionate people to help us build our future at Rimini Street.
