Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular)

**About The Role** As a **Full Stack Developer,** you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high‑performing backend and frontend applications that support critical business operations. You will be a valued member of the Technology \& Engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, SREs, Cloud engineers, QA specialists, and product stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and modern software solutions. **In This Role, You Will** * Develop backend services using Java (8–17\) and Spring Boot, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. * Build responsive, modular, and maintainable frontend interfaces using Angular 2\+ with TypeScript/JavaScript. * Design, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs, including versioning and documentation best practices. * Write, evolve, and maintain automated unit tests to ensure high code quality and coverage. * Develop applications integrated with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/cache technologies. * Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, ensuring smooth and automated releases. * Deploy and operate applications in containerized environments using Kubernetes, GKE, or OpenShift. * Work model We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What You Need To Have To Be Considered** * Solid experience with Java 8–17, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. * Hands\-on experience with Angular 2\+, TypeScript, and modern frontend engineering practices. * Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, documentation, and API versioning. * Experience writing and maintaining unit tests with high coverage. * Proven experience with PostgreSQL and at least one NoSQL or cache technology. * Working experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Hands\-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally Tekton. * Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, or GKE for container orchestration. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar). * Proficiency with GitHub and modern Git workflows. **These will help you stand out** * Hands\-on SRE experience, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. * Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning. * Hands\-on experience with observability tools, ideally Dynatrace, or similar APM platforms. * Familiarity with GCP Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring. * Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and contribute to reliability engineering practices.
