* **Role:** Software Engineer (Blender, Godot, GIMP, R, Wings 3D) \- Remote * **Location:** 100% Remote (Global) * **Compensation:** USD 0–65 per hour **About the Role** We are seeking experienced software professionals to support a high\-priority data collection initiative designed to improve how AI systems understand complex software interfaces and real\-world, multi\-step workflows. This project focuses on capturing authentic, expert\-level usage of professional software tools through high\-quality screen recordings and detailed interface annotations. The collected data will help advance AI systems’ understanding of real digital work environments. **Key Responsibilities** Depending on project phase, you may be asked to: * Record screen sessions demonstrating specific tasks with clear verbal narration * Annotate screenshots by drawing precise bounding boxes around relevant UI elements * Follow staging instructions to configure specific UI states prior to recording * Use a custom capture tool to document workflows accurately * Adhere strictly to task guidelines to ensure high\-quality, usable data **Required Qualifications** * Strong hands\-on experience with one or more of the following tools: * Blender * Godot * GIMP * R * Wings 3D * Access to a physical Mac (ability to create a fresh macOS user profile if required) * Fluent English communication skills * High attention to detail * Ability to follow structured instructions precisely * Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines **Nice\-to\-Have** * Prior experience in data annotation, QA, or structured data collection * Experience recording workflows or creating tutorial\-style documentation * Familiarity with staged or controlled software environments **What Success Looks Like** * Precise, consistent screen annotations aligned with guidelines * Clear, expert\-level screen recordings demonstrating realistic workflows * Efficient task completion without sacrificing quality * Deliverables usable at scale for AI research and development **Contract \& Payment Details** * Independent contractor engagement * Fully remote with flexible scheduling * Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise * Project duration may vary based on performance and business needs * No access to confidential or proprietary employer information required Please note: We are unable to support H1\-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time. **Equal Opportunity Statement** We are an equal opportunity organization and consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics.
