Full Stack Engineer

Brightgrove is looking for a Middle Full\-Stack Engineer for a collaboration engagement supporting a US consumer streaming product with millions of users across web, mobile, and connected TV. The scope includes internal marketing tooling and user\-facing web widgets/APIs used for personalization and growth initiatives. **Role scope** You will join a small engineering group working on marketing technology roadmap items and production improvements. The work combines feature delivery, system stability, and operational readiness. **Responsibilities** * Develop, ship, and maintain user\-facing web widgets and supporting backend APIs. * Build and evolve internal marketing tools, improving reliability, performance, and maintainability. * Contribute to personalization tooling used to target and deliver relevant content (including sports\-focused experiences). * Implement automated checks, alerts, and basic observability to improve detection and response time. * Participate in solution design, estimate and plan tasks, and maintain technical documentation. * Write and maintain unit and integration tests; support code review standards. **Requirements** * 2–5 years of commercial experience in full\-stack development. * Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills. * Frontend experience with React; Next.js is preferred. * Backend experience with Node.js and/or Spring Boot (or comparable server\-side framework). * Hands\-on experience with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, EC2, ECS/EKS, Amplify. * Experience integrating relational databases (AWS RDS) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/DocumentDB). * Solid understanding of OOP and practical software design patterns. * Strong HTML5/CSS3; experience with SASS/LESS or similar. * English sufficient for day\-to\-day engineering communication. **Nice to have** * Experience with personalization, marketing technology, experimentation platforms, or high\-traffic consumer products. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring practices. **What Brightgrove offers** * Collaboration format with a clear, respectful interview process that values your time. * A professional, open IT community with strong engineering standards. * Internal meet\-ups, learning resources, and knowledge\-sharing culture. * Healthy work pace with time for recovery and real downtime. * Bright online and offline team events. **How to apply** Please send your CV via the “Apply” button or reach out directly to the Brightgrove recruiter at the company page.
