Senior Data Engineer

**About the Role** We’re partnering with a leading **global commerce technology organization** to expand their **Data Engineering \& Analytics** team. This is an exciting opportunity for senior\-level Data Engineers who are passionate about building modern data solutions, optimizing data pipelines, and driving impactful data\-driven decisions within a global enterprise environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain **data management systems, pipelines, and quality assurance frameworks** . * Establish and enforce **data standards, database guidelines, and governance protocols** . * Develop and implement **conceptual and logical database designs** , including capacity planning, data loading, and maintenance strategies. * Evaluate, install, and optimize database management systems and cloud data platforms. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to **translate business requirements into scalable data models and efficient pipelines** . * Contribute to **data modeling and relational database architecture** , ensuring data integrity and accessibility. * Support the development of **UI prototypes and reporting tools** in collaboration with analytics and business stakeholders. **Requirements** * **Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark** for data processing and ETL development. * Hands\-on experience building and maintaining **data pipelines** in modern cloud environments. * Proven **data modeling** expertise and familiarity with relational and dimensional models. * Experience with **modern data platforms** such as **Databricks** , **Snowflake** , or similar. * Excellent problem\-solving skills and ability to work in a fast\-paced, collaborative environment.
