This is your opportunity to elevate your career with **Altimetrik.** We are looking for a **Senior Python Developer (Contractor)** to join a high\-impact environment, working on cloud\-native, backend\-oriented products within modern distributed systems. 📍 **Modality:** Remote 🗣️ **English level:** Advanced (B2/C1\) 💼 **Position type:** Full\-time — Professional Services Contract **Responsibilities** • Develop, build, and optimize Python\-based backend services • Create and maintain scalable APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) • Work with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EKS, EC2, S3\) • Design resilient software components for distributed systems • Implement containerized solutions using Docker \& Kubernetes • Write unit tests and maintain high standards of code quality • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cloud\-native solutions **Requirements** • **5\+ years of experience in Python development** • Strong hands\-on experience with **AWS** (Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, EKS, EC2\) • Experience with **Django** and **Flask** • Experience building APIs using **FastAPI** • Solid experience with **Docker** and **Kubernetes** • Experience writing **self\-testing code** (unit tests) • Ability to design scalable, resilient components in distributed architectures • Advanced English (B2/C1\) **What We Offer** Since this role is under a **Professional Services Contractor model** , compensation and benefits will be aligned accordingly for Brazil, ensuring competitive market rates.
