Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced **Lead Data Engineer** to become part of our energetic team. In this position, you will be responsible for architecting and building advanced AI\-driven solutions, utilizing your knowledge of cloud platforms. You will partner with various teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure systems that support organizational goals and follow industry standards. **Responsibilities** * Take part in the creation and enhancement of AI\-based products, such as AI Assistants, AI Assessments, AI Playlists, and Content Authorization tools * Utilize AI technologies and large language models (LLMs) like Llama 3\.1 to craft intelligent solutions * Develop and support cloud\-native applications on Azure, focusing on scalability, dependability, and security * Work alongside product stakeholders to clarify requirements and estimate new features, ensuring alignment with business needs * Produce high\-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in line with established coding guidelines * Design and uphold unit tests to guarantee code stability and performance * Review code thoroughly, offering helpful feedback to peers and ensuring compliance with project guidelines * Engage in agile processes, including user story estimation, sprint planning, and backlog grooming * Spot and implement opportunities for workflow enhancements, automation, and efficiency gains * Prepare and update technical documentation for features and APIs * Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, product managers, and QA professionals, to deliver top\-tier solutions **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a similar discipline * At least five years of experience in data engineering or a comparable field * Minimum of one year in a leadership or team management capacity * Background in building AI\-powered products, such as AI Assistants, AI Assessments, AI Playlists, and Content Authorization platforms * Strong Python skills and practical experience with AI frameworks and LLMs like Llama 3\.1 * Advanced knowledge of developing and supporting cloud solutions on Azure, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security * Understanding of agile practices, including participation in ceremonies, story estimation, and sprint organization * Proven ability to drive process improvements, automation, and optimization in the development cycle * Experience in drafting and maintaining technical documentation for features and APIs * Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written, at B2\+ level or above
