Chief AI Engineer

We are seeking a **Chief AI Engineer** to join our team and lead the development of innovative AI solutions. In this role, you will drive the design and implementation of advanced agentic AI systems, explore cutting\-edge architectures, and establish frameworks for integrating AI into enterprise\-grade platforms. You will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver impactful AI\-enabled products while ensuring operational safety and efficiency. **Responsibilities** * Design and prototype agentic AI systems to address complex business needs * Explore AI\-native architectures using AI tools, AWS Bedrock, EPAM Codemie, and open frameworks * Apply prompt and context engineering to optimize insurance\-specific workflows * Develop solution design patterns for AI\-enabled products and services * Build proof\-of\-concept projects such as Synthetic Personas, automated enterprise agentic networks, and automated context engineering pipelines * Establish safe experimentation frameworks for shadow AI systems to minimize operational risks * Define architecture guardrails for integrating agentic AI into production\-grade insurance platforms * Ensure scalability and reliability of AI implementations across enterprise environments **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field * At least 7 years of professional experience in AI engineering or related fields * Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, including team management, driving technical best practices, and influencing project direction * Participation in at least 2 full\-cycle projects or multiple projects covering various development lifecycle phases * Expertise in AWS, solution architecture, microservice architecture, test\-driven development (TDD), clean code principles, and service\-oriented architecture (SOA) * Proficiency in Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS), design patterns, AI architecture, and AI agent design and integration * Experience in prompt and context engineering, generative AI application development, and AI tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot * Skilled in automated CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and tools like Terraform Enterprise and AWS CDK * Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (OpenShift/EKS/ECS) * Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js development * Ability to work collaboratively with architects and independently on partially defined scopes * Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher **Nice to have** * Experience with AWS Bedrock for AI development * Familiarity with Model Context Protocol for AI system design * Proficiency in Python for AI\-related tasks
