We are now looking for a **Shopify Developer \& CRO Specialist** who combines strong technical Shopify expertise with a deep understanding of conversion rate optimization and e\-commerce performance. This is a hands\-on role. You will not only define improvements — you will also implement them. You’ll work directly on Shopify themes, performance optimizations, UX enhancements, and conversion experiments, while collaborating closely with leadership to drive measurable business results. If you enjoy solving real e\-commerce problems, optimizing revenue through data, and staying up\-to\-date with the latest Shopify innovations, this role is for you. **Shopify Development \& Technical Execution:** * Customize and optimize Shopify themes (Liquid, sections, templates) * Implement performance improvements and technical enhancements * Troubleshoot and resolve theme or app conflicts * Improve mobile experience and site speed * Support advanced Shopify configurations when needed **CRO \& Revenue Optimization:** * Identify conversion bottlenecks across the funnel * Design and implement A/B tests and UX improvements * Improve AOV, conversion rate, and revenue per session * Optimize checkout flows and product pages * Implement upsell, cross\-sell, and bundling strategies **Shopify Innovation \& Best Practices:** * Stay up\-to\-date with Shopify releases and new features * Apply the latest Shopify capabilities (apps, checkout extensibility, markets, etc.) * Identify “quick wins” and product hacks within the Shopify ecosystem * Recommend tools and apps that improve performance **Collaboration \& Delivery:** * Work closely with designers, marketers, and leadership * Translate business objectives into technical implementations * Communicate performance impact clearly and confidently **Must Have:** * 4\+ years of experience working directly with Shopify * Strong hands\-on experience with: * Liquid * Theme customization * Shopify admin \& apps ecosystem * Proven experience improving: * Conversion Rate * AOV * Funnel performance * Strong understanding of e\-commerce metrics and business impact * Experience running and implementing CRO experiments **Nice to have:** * Experience with Shopify Plus * Familiarity with headless Shopify (Hydrogen/Oxygen) * Background in product management or project coordination * Experience with analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar, etc.) * Portuguese language skills **Benefits \& Perks:** Home office; Competitive compensation based on experience; Career plans to allow for extensive growth in the company; International Projects; Oowlish English Program (Technical and Conversational); Oowlish Fitness with Total Pass; Games and Competitions; **You can also apply here:** Website: https://www.oowlish.com/work\-with\-us/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/oowlish/jobs/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oowlishtechnology/ We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
