Senior Full-Stack Mobile Engineer (React Native)

If your background is primarily React web, native iOS/Android, or backend\-only, this is not the right fit.** FlyMeOut is a profitable, invite\-only social travel network growing over 160% year\-over\-year. We run a highly selective social travel platform — and we're moving fast and expanding offerings in 2026\. We're not pre\-revenue. We're not burning cash. We're growing, and we need a senior full\-stack mobile engineer who can ship production React Native features on day one. What you'll build: You'll lead development across our React Native mobile app (Expo, TypeScript, TanStack Query, Zustand) and work with our existing Node.js/TypeScript backend. The work is technically interesting — complex booking flows across yacht charters and villa rentals, payment orchestration with Stripe and Apple Pay, real\-time features, and third\-party API integrations. This isn't maintenance. You're shipping features that users interact with immediately. **Day to day, you'll be working on things like:** * Designing and building new features end\-to\-end in React Native with TypeScript * Architecting booking and payment flows across multiple travel verticals * Integrating with payment platforms (Stripe, Apple Pay) and partner reservation APIs * Working with Firebase for auth, real\-time data, and push notifications * Collaborating directly with the founder on product direction and technical decisions * Code reviews and mentoring a mid\-level React Native engineer on the team **You should have:** * 5\+ years shipping production React Native apps (not React web — we will verify this) * Strong experience with Expo, TypeScript, and modern state management (TanStack Query, Zustand, or similar) * Backend capability with Node.js — you can work with and extend our existing API layer * Hands\-on experience integrating third\-party APIs, especially payment processors * Comfort working independently in a small team where you own the outcome **Nice to have:** * Experience with travel tech, hospitality, or marketplace platforms * Familiarity with booking/reservation systems * Experience leading or mentoring other engineers * Apple Pay integration experience **Why FlyMeOut:** * Profitable company with real revenue — not a cash\-burning startup hoping for a runway extension * Growing 160%\+ year\-over\-year with a planned fundraise in summer 2026 * Fully remote — we hire across Latin America and work on overlapping timezones * Lean team, big ownership — your input directly shapes the product * Expanding into yacht charters, villa rentals, and restaurant reservations — you'd be building these from the ground up * Work directly with the founder on product and technical direction **Compensation \& Terms** This is a full\-time remote contractor position paid as a flat monthly rate via Wise.
