Senior Go Backend Engineer

**About the Role** We are looking for a Senior Go Backend Integration Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will design and build the systems that connect our core platform to third\-party services, real\-time messaging infrastructure, and internal data pipelines. You will work across engineering and product teams to define integration strategies that align with our Enterprise Architecture, contributing to both the technical execution and the long\-term scalability of our systems. **What You'll Do** * Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs in Go (Golang) * Build and maintain integrations with third\-party platforms including CommerceTools, Constructor, and others * Contribute to the design and implementation of real\-time messaging systems using Apache Kafka * Work with Postgres and SQL to model, query, and optimize relational data * Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development to support automated builds, testing, and deployments * Collaborate with project teams to define requirements and integration strategies aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards **What You'll Bring** * 5\+ years of backend engineering experience, including 3–4\+ years of professional Go (Golang) development * Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs from commercial software applications * Hands\-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar real\-time event streaming platforms * Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow * Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL in production environments * Familiarity with enterprise, systems, integration, and data architecture standards and frameworks * Experience implementing CI/CD practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar * Fluent English (we communicate only in English) * Located in Europe * Be able to start full\-time within 2 weeks **Nice to Have** * Prior experience integrating with CommerceTools, Constructor, or similar commerce/search platforms * Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) * Experience working within an enterprise architecture governance model * Background in e\-commerce, retail tech, or marketplace platforms
