**Junior Frontend Developer (React)** 📍 Remote · Full\-time Contractor (PJ – Brasil) **About CodeLeap** CodeLeap is a London\-based software development agency with a large, remote engineering team in Brazil. We build web platforms, mobile apps, and AI\-powered solutions for clients in the UK and Europe. Most projects involve Python/Django on the backend and React/Next.js on the frontend. You’ll work with your teammates in Portuguese, and communicate with clients in English when needed. Our squads are small, fast\-moving, and each person has clear ownership of their work. Requirements **Minimum requirements** * Practical experience with **React and/or React Native** , JavaScript, HTML and CSS * **Some hands\-on experience building real projects** (professional, freelance or personal projects with real complexity) * Ability to **solve problems independently and push tasks forward** * Good communication skills and ability to **report progress clearly** * Ability to **read and write in English** – most of our clients are based in the UK and Europe * Willingness to **learn fast, ask questions, and improve continuously** * Read more at Attitudes we look for **Bonus points (welcome but not necessary)** * Previous experience working on **production applications** * Experience with **Next.js** * Understanding of **UI/UX fundamentals** * Knowledge of **responsive design and mobile\-first development** * Experience collaborating through **Git workflows** * Strong **attention to detail and code quality** And most importantly: * Highly **proactive mindset** * **“Make it happen” attitude** * Curiosity and obsession with **learning and improving** **Your role** * Collaborating with the team to understand project goals * Participating in brainstorming and sharing insights * Writing clean, efficient code using React, React Native, JavaScript, HTML and CSS * Assisting in the development of user interfaces and frontend logic * Resolving UI/UX and responsiveness issues promptly * Engaging in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency * Actively learning and staying updated on frontend trends and best practices * Contributing to a proactive and solution\-oriented team dynamic **What we offer** * **A fun work environment** : opportunity to be part of a young and growing company.
