The company is supported by experienced advisors and investors who have successfully built and scaled software companies with significant recurring revenue and have advised multiple technology organizations throughout their growth journeys. **About the Role** The AI Software Engineer will join the company’s Brazil\-based Developer Center of Excellence (CoE), contributing to the development of standardized code, tools, and best practices that help portfolio companies build software faster, more reliably, and more efficiently. This is an opportunity to join the initiative at an early stage, contributing to the foundation of a development ecosystem that will continue to scale over time. This is an entry\-level position with meaningful responsibility. The role offers the opportunity to learn modern software development practices while supporting code reviews, prototyping, and process improvements. The engineer will contribute to delivering real software solutions used by real customers across multiple businesses, while developing technical expertise in a fast\-paced and high\-learning environment. **Key Responsibilities** **Development Support** * Write high\-quality code leveraging AI\-assisted development tools to build shared libraries, tools, and prototypes under the guidance of senior engineers. * Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, and refactoring initiatives across projects supporting the client’s portfolio companies. * Implement features and functionality using approved technology stacks including C\#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and others as required. **Learning \& Enablement** * Participate in workshops, internal technical discussions, and documentation initiatives to support knowledge sharing within the CoE. * Contribute to the creation of reusable assets such as templates, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and shared components that accelerate development. **Collaboration \& Operations** * Work closely with the Center of Excellence team to meet service\-level agreements (SLAs) for development requests from portfolio companies. * Track and manage work items using tools such as Jira or GitHub, report progress in daily standups, and remain aligned with team priorities. * Follow coding standards, security protocols, and compliance guidelines across all deliverables. **Expected Outcomes** Success in this role includes: * Contributing to two or more portfolio company projects within the first four months. * Generating a significant portion of code output using AI\-assisted development tools, leveraging them effectively to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality. * Developing expertise in two to three portfolio company technology stacks within six months, enabling independent contribution within those environments. **Candidate Profile** The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, and motivated to learn quickly. They enjoy exploring unfamiliar codebases, understanding how systems work, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Candidates may have developed software through academic projects, open\-source contributions, personal initiatives, or professional experience, and are excited by the opportunity to work across different technology stacks, industries, and business challenges.
