**Tech Lead JavaScript FullStack Developer** Brazil Software Engineer Lead **Important Information** **Location:** Brazil **Job Mode:** Full\-time **Work Mode:** Work from home **Job Summary** As the Tech Lead for our JavaScript/TypeScript full‑stack team, you will guide technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and serve as a key technical counterpart to our client stakeholders. You’ll be a great contributor to the code quality and security aspects, while actively coaching engineers to deepen the team’s expertise in our core stack. You’ll be hands\-on and equally strong in communication—facilitating technical discussions, translating business needs into technical plans, and ensuring we commit secure, scalable, and high‑quality solutions. **Responsibilities and Duties** * As a technical lead, be a reference when communicating with the team and stakeholders (including the client); * Raise and discuss trade\-offs of different design approaches elaborating detailed design documents; * Development of new features; * Maintenance of existing applications; * Help define and document practices, methodologies and processes relevant to technical teams, improving Encora’s knowledge base; * Implement solution from coding to testing to production deployment support; * Mentor less experienced team members. **Essential Skills** * Broad experience with full stack development based in JavaScript; * Experience with analysis, design, and implementation; * Experience NextJS and NodeJS; * Cloud knowledge (specially AWS Lambda, AWS CDK and serverless). **Highly Desirable Skills** * Knowledge about agile software development; * Experience in driving Scrum rituals (Planning, Daily, Review and Retrospective). **About Encora** Encora is the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner of some of the world’s leading enterprises and digital native companies.
