Developer Advocate and Technology Evangelist

If you're interested in being a driving force at an agile technology company, engineering clever computing solutions \& helping other companies bring their products to life, we should talk. **Description** --------------- As a **Developer Advocate and Technology Evangelist** , you are responsible for building **awareness, trust and enthusiasm** for Toradex and Torizon among developers and technical decision‑makers. You will: * be a visible technical voice among developers, and * recruit, onboard and support external experts (evangelists) to talk about Toradex and Torizon. **Responsibilities** -------------------- **Developer Advocacy** * Represent Toradex and Torizon in **talks, webinars, meet\-ups, podcasts and videos** targeting developers and technical leaders. * Turn complex technical topics (e.g. Torizon, security, cloud integration, EU CRA readiness) into **clear, compelling narratives**. * Create or co‑create **example storylines and use‑cases** that educate and inspire developers. * Collaborate with the rest of the Ecosystem and Growth team to build **developer‑facing campaigns**. **Evangelist Program Ownership** * Own and operate the **Evangelist Program** end‑to‑end * Identify, prioritize and recruit **evangelists** (bloggers, YouTubers, podcasters, partners, customers, educators, analysts). * Onboard and brief evangelists, co‑plan talks, content and joint activities, and maintain a **consistent cadence** of collaborations. * Coordinate what we **invest** in evangelists (hardware, early access, deep‑dive sessions, co‑marketing). * Track and communicate the impact of the program (mentions, talks, content volume, reach, sentiment). **Partner \& Community Awareness** * Support the **Toradex Proven Partner Network** from the advocacy and awareness side * Work with Partner Management, Developer Experience and Marketing to create **joint narratives and content** with partners (webinars, case studies, demos, blog posts). * Elevate selected partners as **co‑evangelists** in their domains and ensure they reinforce Toradex and Torizon core messages. **Content \& Feedback Loop** * Create and maintain **enablement material** for evangelists, partners and internal teams (talk outlines, slide decks, talking points, FAQs, storylines). * Gather **feedback and insights** from developer communities, evangelists and partner activities, and share them with Product, Product Marketing, Developer Experience and Partner teams to improve our products, positioning and programs. **Requirements** ---------------- **Must Have** * Experience in **Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Technical Evangelism** or in **Product Marketing** with a strong developer‑facing component. * Proven experience **speaking to developers**, for example: + Conferences or meetups + Webinars, live streams or workshops + Technical blogs, podcasts or video content * Strong ability to **translate technical topics into clear, engaging stories** for technical audiences. * Demonstrated experience **building or nurturing technical communities** (developer communities, OSS, meet\-ups, online forums, etc.). * Excellent communication skills in **English** (written and spoken). * Comfortable working cross‑functionally with **Product Marketing, Product, Developer Experience, Sales and Partner Management**. * Data‑informed mindset with the ability to **track and report impact** of evangelism and awareness activities. **Nice to Have** * Experience in **embedded systems,** **IoT** **or related B2B technology** markets. * Hands‑on experience building **demos or prototypes** (for example in C/C\+\+ or Python, or using containers). * Experience designing or running **evangelist/influencer programs** or **partner co‑marketing** initiatives. **What We Offer** ----------------- * Agile, globally oriented and inter\-cultural corporate culture. * Work on the latest HW technology with early access to major SoC vendor * Enjoy a flat hierarchy where you may truly shape our HW and SW offerings * Count on a diverse team of experienced HW and SW engineers * Variety of knowledge sharing, training and self\-development opportunities * The opportunity to play a key role in shaping your own work processes and your work environment. * Contemporary employment conditions, modern office space and a flexible working environment. * Opportunities for your personal development. * Meal allowance (Flash card) * Health and dental care * Flexible working hours * Parking space * Anniversary day off Toradex is a leader in embedded computing, serving innovative products to industrial, medical, automotive \& IoT companies creating feature\-rich \& intelligent systems for demanding applications, e.g. supercars, self\-driving tractors, patient monitoring systems – to name a few.
