Full Stack Engineer - Typescript

**Role:** Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript) **Location:** São Paulo, SP, Brazil **Work Model:** Onsite We're looking for a skilled Senior Full\-Stack Software Engineer to join our on\-site engineering team and help build the next generation of workforce engagement and incentive platforms. Jolly sits at the intersection of operational data and real\-world incentives, transforming signals from systems like HRIS, payroll, and various work platforms into meaningful engagement for frontline workers. We're looking for someone who embodies extreme ownership – someone who doesn't just write code that meets the acceptance criteria and moves on, but obsesses over the end\-to\-end customer experience. They proactively identify edge cases, sweat the details, and partner closely with product, design, and data to ship thoughtful and reliable features. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves startups, and can collaborate well in a fast\-paced environment. You'll build and own end\-to\-end systems across our frontend and backend and play a key role in shaping how our engineering team designs, ships, and operates software **What You'll Do** * Build and maintain full\-stack applications using TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, and React Native * Design and manage relational database schemas using PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Prisma * Build and evolve data ingestion and transformation pipelines that move operational data from external customer systems into Jolly * Collaborate in Agile workflows including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives * Write clean, testable code and contribute to CI/CD and deployment pipelines * Work closely with product and design to deliver features from concept to launch **Who You Are** * A senior\-level software engineer with experience owning production enterprise B2B SaaS or consumer apps * You take personal responsibility for product quality – if there is a bug, you're eager to understand why and prevent it from happening again with a high sense of urgency * Naturally collaborative – you surface opinions early, explain tradeoffs, and are comfortable operating in high\-ambiguity environments * Deep familiarity with Agile development practices * Excellent problem\-solving and communication skills **Must\-Have Experience** * 6\+ years of professional software engineering experience * Extensive experience with TypeScript both on the frontend and backend * Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL * English speaking proficiency * Exposure to *AWS* , CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Terraform * Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog) and testing frameworks. * Startup 0→1 experience, or multiple 1→10 iterations * Experience using AI tooling in day\-to\-day development **This is a fully onsite role, meaning the engineer is expected to work from the company’s office in São Paulo on a daily basis. It is not a remote or hybrid position.**
