You will work at the intersection of **trading technology, infrastructure, and DevOps/SRE**, managing MT4/MT5 environments primarily hosted on **AWS**. In this role, you will collaborate closely with **trading, risk, operations, and engineering teams** to maintain high availability trading systems, support integrations with liquidity providers and internal systems, and continuously improve platform reliability. Your expertise in **MetaTrader ecosystems and trading infrastructure** will help sustain a secure and scalable trading platform. **How You’ll Make an Impact** **MetaTrader Platform Ownership** * Install, configure, and maintain **MT4/MT5 servers** (live, demo, and test) across AWS or other infrastructure environments. * Manage **MetaTrader Admin/Manager terminals**, including trading accounts, groups, permissions, and trading instrument configurations. * Support **plugins, liquidity bridges, and trading integrations**, working with trading and risk teams to implement new CFDs and trading conditions. **Reliability, Monitoring \& Incident Management** * Implement monitoring and alerting for **platform health, latency, connectivity, and trading performance indicators**. * Investigate and resolve platform incidents such as **disconnects, abnormal trading activity, and system instability**. * Perform **log analysis and root cause investigations**, contributing to incident reviews and reliability improvements. **AWS \& Infrastructure Operations** * Deploy and operate **MetaTrader infrastructure on AWS**, including EC2 instances, VPC networking, storage, and security groups. * Manage **backups, snapshots, and infrastructure performance tuning** to ensure system stability and availability. * Collaborate with engineering teams to implement **Infrastructure\-as\-Code and secure infrastructure practices**. **Integration \& Ecosystem Support** * Support integrations between MetaTrader and **internal systems such as back office, CRM, client portals, and reporting tools**. * Assist with connectivity to **liquidity providers, trading bridges, and FIX integrations**. * Work with developers and quant teams to **deploy and test Expert Advisors (EAs), plugins, and custom components**. **Platform Operations \& Continuous Improvement** * Maintain **separate environments (dev, test, demo, live)** with structured change and release processes. * Plan and execute **platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes** with minimal disruption to trading operations. * Create and maintain **runbooks, SOPs, and documentation** while applying DevOps/SRE practices to improve reliability. **What You Bring** * **1–4 years of experience** working with MetaTrader platforms (MT4 and/or MT5\). * Experience in **brokerage, liquidity provider, prop trading, or trading technology environments**. * Hands\-on experience supporting **production trading platforms and operational environments**. * Experience using **MetaTrader Admin/Manager terminals** for account, group, and symbol management. * Strong knowledge of configuring **trading conditions such as leverage, margin, commissions, swaps, and spreads**. * Experience troubleshooting **plugins, bridges, and trading platform integrations**. * Experience with **Windows Server administration** for MetaTrader environments and basic Linux support. * Familiarity with **AWS infrastructure such as EC2, VPC networking, and security groups**. * Basic scripting or automation using **PowerShell, Bash, or Python**. * Strong **troubleshooting and analytical skills**, particularly in time\-sensitive trading environments. * Good **communication and collaboration skills** with cross\-functional teams including trading, risk, and engineering. * Willingness to participate in **on\-call support during critical trading periods**. **Your X\-Factor** * Experience managing **MetaTrader environments on AWS production infrastructure**. * Exposure to other trading platforms such as **Match\-Trader, cTrader, or similar systems**. * Familiarity with **MQL4/MQL5, Expert Advisors, and trading automation logic**. * Knowledge of **FIX protocol, liquidity connectivity, and trade routing mechanisms**. * Experience supporting **risk management systems and liquidity bridges**. * Understanding of **trading platform ecosystem architecture and data flows**. * Experience with **monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, CloudWatch, or ELK**. * Exposure to **CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes**. * Familiarity with **Infrastructure\-as\-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible**. **Your Journey after Applying** * 30 minute HR interview with the Talent Acquisition team member * 45 minute Technical Get\-To\-Know\-You Session (with talent acquisition team \& department front line manager) * 60\-minute Final Interview Session (with head of department \& talent acquisition lead) **Why Join NEXT** At NEXT Ventures, we believe the right talent fuels breakthrough innovation.
