Backend Engineer Python-DevOps

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong DevOps capabilities to support a team focused on improving customer operations through technology and data insights. In this role, you will work closely with an external vendor building AI\-assisted evaluation workflows that analyze customer interactions. You’ll help enable these systems by building supporting backend services, enabling data access and mining, and establishing the infrastructure required for them to operate effectively. Your work will involve containerized services, AWS Lambda, Terraform\-managed infrastructure, and secure data transfer between AWS accounts. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operational teams, while also coordinating technical requirements with the vendor. Strong communication skills are important, as you’ll often act as the bridge between the vendor and internal teams, helping translate requirements, manage requests, and ensure the implementation aligns with internal technical standards. **What we’re looking for:** ● Strong Python backend development experience ● Solid AWS and DevOps experience ● Experience with containerized services ● Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure as code ● Experience working with AWS Lambda and cloud\-based services ● Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders ● Strong communication and coordination skills **Nice to have:** ● Familiarity with TypeScript or Node.js ● Interest in AI\-driven workflows This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across development and infrastructure, enabling data\-driven systems, and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful solutions. **Join Our Global Team:** We invite you to apply for the position at RE Partners.
