**Software Engineer** C17 Lab \- GTM Automation \& Revenue Operations Remote • Full\-Time Contractor  **About C17 Lab** C17 Lab is a GTM automation and revenue operations agency that helps B2B companies generate qualified pipeline through outbound systems. We work with professional services, manufacturing, and B2B SaaS companies, running end\-to\-end outbound programs that consistently deliver meetings and revenue. We don't use stale data. We don't rely on generic tools. We build our own. Our proprietary tools scrape LinkedIn and Google Maps directly, clean client CRMs at scale, and give clients real\-time visibility into every campaign through a purpose\-built portal. We're building the infrastructure to be the most reliable outbound partner in the market. **The Role** You'll be the first dedicated software engineer at C17 Lab, reporting to the CEO. Your job is to build, ship, and maintain the software products that power our client delivery and differentiate us from every other agency. You'll own three products: * **Fertile** \- Our lead data engine. Scrapes LinkedIn and Google Maps for fresh, verified business and contact data. Replaces stale third\-party databases. You'll build and maintain scrapers that run 24/7, handle anti\-detection, and deliver clean data at scale. * **Sterile** \- Our CRM hygiene tool. Deduplicates, cleans, and enriches client CRM data programmatically. You'll build the logic that identifies duplicates, resolves conflicts, and writes clean data back without breaking anything. * **Client Portal** \- An enterprise\-grade dashboard where clients track campaign performance, view their pipeline, and access learnings. Role\-based access, real\-time stats from all of our sequencer and a roadmap view. You'll build it from the ground up. **What You'll Do Day\-to\-Day** * Build and maintain web scrapers (LinkedIn, Google Maps) that deliver 1M\+ leads/month with \>95% data accuracy * Design and implement data pipelines that enrich, validate, and deduplicate contact/company records * Develop the client portal with authentication, role\-based access, campaign dashboards, and real\-time data from SmartLead and Clay APIs * Integrate with third\-party platforms: SmartLead (email sequencing), Clay (enrichment), Salesforce, HubSpot, and client\-specific tools * Build monitoring, alerting, and automated health checks across all systems \- if something breaks at 2am, you know before anyone else * Write data validation logic that catches issues before they reach clients — wrong emails, dead businesses, duplicate records * Own deployment, infrastructure, and uptime for all C17 Lab internal tools * Collaborate with Utkarsh (Head of GTM Eng) on architecture decisions and with the GTM team on feature requirements **You're a Great Fit If You** * Have 3\-5\+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years building data\-intensive applications * You are ahead of every single AI trends \- Claude Code, Cursor, Clawbot * Can write production\-grade Python with async patterns, proper error handling, and logging * Have real experience building and maintaining web scrapers (not just tutorials — systems that ran in production for months) * Know your way around PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, query optimization, and data deduplication patterns * Can build functional frontend interfaces with React or Next.js (dashboards, data tables, auth flows) * Understand API design and integration: RESTful APIs, webhooks, rate limiting, retry logic * Have deployed and monitored applications in production (Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure) * Are comfortable being the only engineer — you own the outcome, not just the code * Communicate clearly in English, both written (Slack, documentation) and verbal (team calls) * Thrive in a small, fast\-moving team where shipping matters more than perfection **Bonus Points** * Experience with CRM APIs (Salesforce, HubSpot) and understanding CRM data models * BigQuery or data warehouse experience for enterprise client reporting * Redis, Celery, or job queue systems for managing scraping at scale * Security experience: OAuth 2\.0, JWT, RBAC, data encryption * Prior experience in an agency, lead generation, or B2B SaaS environment **What We Offer** * Full ownership of C17 Lab's product engineering \- your code directly drives company revenue * Direct access to the CEO and Head of GTM Engineering \- no layers of management or politics * A company building toward $10M revenue * Radical transparency \- you'll always know how your work impacts clients and the business * Flexibility on location and schedule, with accountability on output and reliability **Compensation** Competitive contractor rate based on experience and location.
