Full Stack Developer

SapienX needs a sharp, ownership\-minded full stack developer to help us build and scale a sustainability platform employing AI. You'll work across our .NET backend, React frontend, and data infrastructure (Azure SQL \+ Databricks Delta tables), shipping features that reach real users and have measurable environmental impact. This is a high\-trust, hands\-on role with end\-to\-end ownership of a platform that matters — reporting directly to our CTO. **What you'll do** * Design, build, and evolve APIs and microservices using .NET Core 8\+ and ASP.NET Core, integrating large\-scale data flows across the platform. * Optimize data pipelines with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, with a focus on query performance and reliability at scale. * Own platform health: implement JWT/OAuth security patterns, Application Insights monitoring, automated testing (xUnit), and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps. * Participate actively in code reviews and lead refactoring efforts to keep a high\-scale system clean, maintainable, and well\-architected. * Collaborate on technical dashboards and contribute to the analysis of large volumes of operational data in Databricks. **What you bring** * 5\+ years of hands\-on .NET development — you're fluent in C\#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and apply SOLID principles and DDD naturally. * Strong SQL Server skills and experience integrating complex data flows in production backend systems. * Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS welcome) and core DevOps tooling: Git, Azure DevOps pipelines. * Comfort reading and writing technical documentation in English; able to use global developer tools and collaborate asynchronously. * Genuine care about social and environmental impact — especially around food systems and waste reduction. **Bonus points if you have** * Experience building scalable REST or SOAP APIs, or familiarity with tools like Hangfire and Swagger. * Public GitHub work related to data engineering, distributed systems, or backend architecture. * Prior exposure to Databricks, Delta Lake, or large\-scale data platform work.
