Chief GenAI Engineer

We are looking for a **Chief GenAI Engineer** to drive the design and continuous improvement of AI products powered by large language models (LLMs). You will steer scalable backend services, cloud deployment (preferably Azure), and LLM API integrations while partnering with AI/DS and DevOps. Apply now to help deliver reliable, cost\-efficient GenAI systems **Responsibilities** * Design and enhance backend services that scale for AI/LLM\-driven applications * Integrate and operate LLM\-based applications in cloud environments, with preference for Azure * Implement CI/CD pipelines that streamline and automate deployments * Optimize service performance, cost\-efficiency, and reliability across AI workloads * Establish observability and logging to track performance of LLM APIs * Collaborate with AI/DS and DevOps teams to refine workflows and strengthen system reliability * Build APIs and microservices that enable AI\-powered product capabilities * Resolve issues around latency, cost control, retries, and fallbacks for LLM\-backed applications * Architect backend components using SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, and Kafka * Leverage Databricks and Model Context Protocol to improve and extend AI workflows **Requirements** * Extensive backend engineering experience in Python with FastAPI, including 7\+ years in production environments * Proven ability to build and operate GenAI applications centered on large language models (LLMs) * Deep knowledge of prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and orchestration patterns * Hands\-on experience integrating LLM APIs and applying operational best practices * Solid background in designing scalable backend architectures for LLM\-powered APIs * Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases plus Redis and Kafka in real\-world systems * Practical experience with Databricks and MCP (Model Context Protocol) in AI workflows * Excellent English communication skills at a B2\+ (Upper\-Intermediate) level **Nice to have** * Advanced expertise in agentic workflows * Familiarity with Databricks and Model Context Protocol
