**Posting Date:** 12 Mar 2026 **City:** Macae' **Location:**Macae', BR, 27915\-011 **Contract Type:** Permanent **Division:** Plant Engineering **Level of experience:** Junior RINA is currently recruiting for a **Brazil Energy Site Engineer** to join its office in **Rio de Janeiro** within the **Plant Engineering** Division.**Key Accountabilities** * Assessment of the structural integrity of subsea risers using numerical models based on the finite element method; * Preparation of technical reports following Petrobras specifications for top tension, structural, and fatigue analyses of flexible pipes; * Participation in technical meetings, providing recommendations and solutions based on applicable technical standards. \#LI\-KM **Qualifications** * Degree in Engineering with an active CREA license. * Experience in subsea projects with pipelines. * Good experience with OrcaFlex software. * Experience with dynamic analysis of flexible pipes. * Fluent or advanced English level (weekly meetings in English). * Desirable: knowledge of Python programming. * Desirable: experience with subsea installation feasibility (examples: direct vertical connection, connection using diverless tool, and direct horizontal connection). * Desirable:experience with mooring and hydrodynamic analysis. **Competencies** * WORKPLACE DYNAMICS \- Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently. * PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT \- Ownership for life, work and results, striving to grow professionally and personally. * INTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE \- Skills and strategies we use to interact effectively with others. * DOMAIN \& BUSINESS ACUMEN \- Applying a scientific approach and critical thinking in operations and solution development within area of expertise. * FORESIGHT \& INSIGHT \- Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making.
