Scala Engineer at BairesDev As a Scala Engineer, you will develop high\-performance applications leveraging functional programming principles. You will focus on building resilient and scalable systems using the Scala ecosystem, ensuring reliability and performance through modern effect systems and concurrent programming. What You'll Do: \- Design and implement robust applications using Scala and functional programming paradigms. \- Develop and maintain asynchronous, concurrent systems utilizing the Akka toolkit. \- Work with functional effect systems like ZIO and Cats to manage side effects and application state. \- Write clean, testable, and highly maintainable code adhering to principles of functional purity. \- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to architect scalable solutions and define technical standards. What we are looking for: \- 4\+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Scala and functional programming. \- Proven expertise in developing scalable applications using the Akka toolkit. \- Hands\-on experience with functional effect systems such as ZIO or Cats Effect. \- Deep understanding of functional programming principles and distributed systems. \- Advanced proficiency in English.
