Full Stack Engineer (React.js/Node.js)

We are looking for a full\-time, remote **Senior Full Stack Engineer** with 5\+ years of full stack development experience and a strong background in React.js and Node.js. You will join our clients engineering team and transform ideas and user feedback into positive experiences. You will work closely with other engineers and the user experience team iterating on designs and releasing them. Your responsibilities will include end\-to\-end feature development from web interfaces to backend APIs to the database. You will also communicate with the clients customers understanding their needs so you can build features with them that deliver on what you learn. The client fosters collaboration and a close\-knit working environment within its development team valuing inclusion and independent thought from its members. The client will support you as you onboard and grow within your new role, and they expect you to provide the same support to other team members. You will manage your own workload by participating in sprint planning, voicing concerns, advocating for desirable development outcomes, and proactively addressing issues. Successful full stack engineers must have in\-depth knowledge of web development concepts, a solid understanding of API and relational database design, excellent coding skills, familiarity with single page applications, and an eagerness to learn. As a result, compliance becomes habitual, simply to understand and implement, and continuously verifiable so businesses gain transparency into compliance status. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with User Experience and Product teams creating end\-to\-end, new feature designs * Build applications and APIs in JavaScript using React.js and Node.js * Develop and implement highly responsive UI components * Create data models using RDBMS principles implementing them in PostgreSQL * Troubleshoot interfaces and debug applications * Monitor and improve end\-to\-end performance * Communicate with and support our customers helping them find and build solutions to their problems **Required Experience** * Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills * 5\+ years of full stack software development experience writing single page applications that talk to API back\-ends with a strong background with React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML * Well\-developed understanding of front\-end concepts and different frameworks * Strong back\-end experience designing APIs and domain models * Experience working in an AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure, or other cloud environments * Experience designing RDBMSs to support real\-world application usage * Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with browser\-based debugging and performance\-testing software * A focus on customer value delivery * Proven delivery experience in a vibrant, dynamic startup environment * Great listening skills and a willingness to understand what customers and team members need to achieve success * A collaborative approach, a can do attitude, and a relentless pursuit to attain goals and solve problems * A willingness to learn from others and admit when youve made a mistake **Desired Experience** * University degree in computer sciences/engineering or related field **Additional Information** * Typical week is 40\-45 hours, Monday Friday * 15 days Paid Time Off (PTO), 1 floating day, 3 sick days, and your national holidays * Start: ASAP **Core Client Values** * The clients values are threaded into the very fabric of their culture. * **Trust** : We strive to continuously earn the trust of our team, customers, investors, and all other stakeholders proving we are dependable. * **Health** : We are diligent caretakers of the health of the business, but never prioritize it over the mental and physical health of our team. * **Respect** : We are passionate about being respectful and courteous.
