Senior Software Engineer (OrderAI)

We are looking for a remote, full\-time Senior Software Engineer with 7\+ years of software development experience to join the engineering team of our U.S. client. This engineer will contribute to the development of OrderAI, an AI\-powered system that allows restaurants to take customer orders through voice interactions. This role involves working on customer\-focused products backed by LLM technologies, including real\-time voice interfaces. The engineer will be able to contribute at any point in the full development cycle from the identification of system requirements and enhancements, coding the system to address these requirements, testing the system for quality control, releasing system changes, and documentation of system changes. The ideal candidate is expected to contribute to a positive engineering culture and collaborate effectively with cross\-functional teams. Founded in 2003, our client transforms the traditional restaurant point\-of\-sale (POS) terminal into an integrated 360\-degree operational management system. Their solution increases brand loyalty through improved customer experiences, optimizes operations resulting in lower costs, and increases sales volumes through comprehensive analytics and employee performance insights. Over 7,000 locations use their technology today processing $5 Billion in daily sales. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and support existing systems as well as create new functionality for the OrderAI platform, with a focus on LLM\-powered features, including building AI features, integrating LLM APIs, and working with prompts and voice systems * Write high\-quality code following best practices and standards for coding, compliance, security, and performance using C\#/.NET * Contribute to software development with an emphasis on backend design, quality, and implementation * Utilize the latest advances in AI and LLM technologies to improve the effectiveness of delivering business value within the AI ordering platform * Support and share knowledge with fellow engineers through code reviews and collaboration * Help troubleshoot issues and identify bug fixes across systems that support AI voice ordering and backend integrations **Required Experience** * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills * 7\+ years of professional software development experience * Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including C\# and Azure * Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL * Experience with queues, caching, CDNs, and other technologies used for building scalable applications * Demonstrated success delivering SaaS, e\-commerce, or consumer\-facing applications/APIs * Experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (Azure preferred), and modern architectures * Demonstrated ability to work individually as well as part of a team * Interest in working with LLM technologies and AI\-driven products **Desired Experience** * University degree or relevant industry experience * Exposure to LLM\-powered systems or AI\-driven applications * Experience integrating LLM APIs or AI services into backend systems * Interest in building products that leverage voice\-based or conversational interfaces * Experience supporting real\-time or event\-driven systems **Additional Information** * Knowing your ideas are heard and matter think big! * You get to own your job and be recognized for your contributions * Work with smart and creative people * Making mistakes is human.
