Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer

**Job title:** Full Stack Software Engineer **Job type:** Contract **Contract Length:** 6 months with high possibility of extension **Rate:** Competitive based on experience **Role Location:** Brazil \& Argentina **The Company** The company operates in the broader **education and community engagement space** , focusing on helping schools run modern, activity\-based fundraising initiatives. Their technology platform simplifies the process of setting up events, collecting donations, and tracking progress. The bigger goal is to make fundraising easier for schools while also encouraging healthier, more engaging activities for students. **Role And Responsibilities** You’d be joining a **product\-focused engineering team** that’s building and improving a **large\-scale platform** used by schools and communities nationwide. The day\-to\-day is a **50/50 full stack mix** of **front\-end (React/TypeScript)** and **back\-end (Node, PHP/Laravel, databases)** work. You’d be helping **design and deliver new features** , **improve scalability** , and support the **shift to modern microservices and cloud\-based architecture** . It’s **hands\-on coding** , **collaborating with other engineers** , and contributing to **software that directly impacts schools and students** . **Job Requirements** * 3–6 years of professional software development experience (mid\-level range) * Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills * Hands\-on experience with React for front\-end development * Proficiency in Node.js for back\-end development * Comfortable working in a Linux environment * Experience with PHP and Laravel (bonus, but highly valued) * Familiarity with databases (SQL or similar) * Understanding of modern architecture (cloud, APIs, microservices) * Ability to work in a collaborative, product\-driven team environment **Accessibility Statement** Read and apply for this role in the way that works for you by using our Recite Me assistive technology tool.
