We are seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer focused on data validation and regression coverage to support our Data team. This role partners closely with the Data Test Lead to expand validation coverage across critical datasets and pipelines, ensuring reliable, privacy\-conscious, and production\-ready data for analytics and applications. This Senior Data Quality Engineer will ensure rigorous data normalisation and correct population across a large\-scale data pipeline; manage workflows that handle breached information and other sensitive data in line with privacy controls and data contracts; and enhance and maintain our in\-house synthetic test data generator to power regression suites and privacy\-preserving test scenarios. We value self\-starting, self\-driven and proactive engineers who thrive in a fast\-paced, startup\-like environment and can adapt to frequent changes in direction.**Responsibilities** Implement data validations for key datasets and ETL jobs, including checks for schema compliance, nulls, ranges, referential integrity, and anomaly detection. Build and maintain regression test suites for the top data products, scaling validation coverage as new data flows are onboarded. Partner with the lead engineer to automate dataset provisioning for integration tests, enabling consistent and repeatable test runs. Support validation and testing for internal products (DWM and Vela), and additional core data products as they evolve. Contribute to CI pipelines with red/green checks on data contracts. Collaborate with team members to deliver synthetic datasets and validation strategies aligned to data privacy requirements. **Qualifications** Strong experience in SQL and Python for data validation, ETL testing, and regression authoring. Background in data quality assurance, with experience implementing schema and referential integrity validations. Hands\-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, or similar).
