**Job Title:** Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer **Location:** (Remote) \- Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Panama **Job Type:** Full\-Time **About the Role:** We are looking for a hands\-on Linux Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize our server infrastructure. This role combines traditional systems administration with modern DevOps practices, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both low\-level server work and high\-level automation. You will be responsible for maintaining high\-performance Linux systems, implementing automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliability and scalability across environments. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage, monitor, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, Debian, or CentOS). * Implement and maintain configuration management, automation, and deployment pipelines (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform). * Write and maintain Bash scripts; Python or Go is a plus. * Manage and troubleshoot networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and SSL/TLS configurations. * Maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging infrastructure (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Netdata, Fluent Bit, or Vector). * Manage CI/CD workflows and version control (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins). * Implement and maintain system security best practices, including updates, access control, and backups. * Collaborate with developers to support deployment and infrastructure needs. * Diagnose and resolve production incidents with a focus on uptime and performance. **Requirements:** * 3\+ years of experience managing Linux systems in production environments. * Strong command\-line and scripting skills in Bash (Python or Go is a plus). * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools. * Experience with monitoring, metrics, and log aggregation systems. * Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, load balancing). * Familiarity with CI/CD tools and git\-based workflows. * Experience with cloud or bare\-metal environments (AWS, GCP, Hetzner, or on\-prem). * Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. **Nice to Have:** * Experience with ClickHouse, Redis/Valkey, or other data infrastructure. * Knowledge of OpenResty, Nginx, or HAProxy tuning. * Familiarity with SaltStack, Ansible, or Terraform infrastructure automation. * Experience with BGP, VRRP, or advanced network topologies. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits * Flexible/remote working options * Opportunity to work with cutting\-edge technologies in a dynamic environment * Collaborative and growth\-focused team
