With strong autonomy and close collaboration across teams, we explore new ideas—including AI—to shape the future of engineering. **What You'll Do** * Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable UI solutions that support internal developer workflows. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to identify developer pain points and translate them into actionable improvements. * Drive platform\-level enhancements using technologies like microfrontends, React, GraphQL, and AWS. * Research and pilot emerging technologies—including AI—to improve developer tooling and experience. * Influence product roadmaps and engineering standards through proactive engagement and technical leadership. * Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusive design. * Demonstrate deep technical knowledge to understand and shape requirements for internal platform improvements. * Identify and lead solution strategies that enhance developer experience, security, and code quality. * Apply best practices in frontend architecture and secure coding to deliver robust UI components. * Collaborate with other squads to pilot new capabilities and ensure seamless integration across systems. * Analyse and resolve bugs, performance issues, and usability challenges with minimal guidance. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with product goals. This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. **Qualifications** **Basic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 5\+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on scalable \- * English level B2 or above * Solid experience with UI architecture * Proven expertise in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React and GraphQL * Experience working in cloud environments (AWS prefered) * Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers. * Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimisation. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross\-functional teams. * Experience working in agile environments and contributing to product roadmaps. * Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote, multicultural team setting. **Preferred Qualifications** * Knowledge of micro frontend patterns * Experience improving developer experience in platform\-level engineering. * Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design. * Exposure to AI/ML concepts or interest in exploring emerging technologies. * Contributions to open\-source projects or internal tooling initiatives. **Additional Information** Visa is an EEO Employer.
