Senior PHP Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced **Senior PHP Software Engineer** to join our team! You’ll work on a **legacy system** while helping us shape its future — implementing new features, debugging, and collaborating with our product and QA teams through Slack. If you’re a problem\-solver who loves writing clean, efficient code and improving existing systems, we’d love to hear from you. ⚙️ **Tech Stack** PHP 8 \| Laravel \| JavaScript \| HTML5 \| CSS3 \| REST / GraphQL \| Linux 🧩 **Your Responsibilities** * Design and develop new backend features * Propose and own architectural solutions across multiple projects * Write high\-quality, well\-documented code * Maintain and improve code in multiple projects, including legacy code * Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and the product team * Track requests, issues, and progress using our project management tools * Provide estimates and technical documentation when needed * Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables * Ensure optimal maintenance of development and test environments * Manage code changes via version control * Conduct code reviews ✅ **Requirements** * Minimum **4 years** of experience in a comparable software development role * **Expert\-level PHP** knowledge * Experience with **Laravel** (a strong plus) * Good understanding of **REST** or **GraphQL** web services * Strong skills in **HTML5** , **CSS3** , and **JavaScript** * Proficiency in **Linux** development environments * Structured, detail\-oriented, and thorough * Excellent written communication skills in English
