Snowflake Lead Developer with ADF & Azure

**Job Title:** Snowflake Lead Developer with ADF \& Azure **Location:** Remote (Brazil) **Duration:** Long\-Term Contract / Full\-Time **Overview:** We are seeking an experienced **Snowflake Lead Developer** with strong hands\-on expertise in **Azure Data Factory (ADF)** and **cloud\-based data warehousing** . The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Snowflake architecture, SQL performance optimization, and end\-to\-end data engineering best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and optimize data architecture and analytics solutions using **Snowflake** . * Develop and maintain **Snowflake stored procedures (SnowProc/SnowSQL)** to support complex data transformations. * Design and implement **scalable ETL/ELT pipelines** with advanced data transformation logic, error handling, and monitoring. * Work on **ADF** and **IICS** (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources into Snowflake. * Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to ensure smooth project delivery and support. * Adhere to data engineering best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD processes. * Utilize **Airflow** or **Control\-M** for scheduling and workflow automation (preferred). * Support implementation and maintenance activities, including issue resolution and performance tuning. **Required Skills \& Experience:** * **2–3 years** of hands\-on development experience with **Snowflake** . * Strong proficiency in **SQL** and **cloud\-based data warehousing** concepts. * Deep knowledge of **Snowflake procedures, SnowProc, and SnowSQL** . * Proven experience with **ETL/ELT process design** and **data integration** . * Hands\-on experience with **ADF** and **IICS** . * Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** using **Git, Bitbucket, and Visual Studio** . * Understanding of **data engineering best practices** and performance optimization. * Flexibility to work across time zones to coordinate with onsite teams. * **Bonus:** Experience with **Airflow** or **Control\-M** scheduling tools. **Soft Skills:** * Strong problem\-solving and analytical mindset. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Proactive and adaptable to dynamic project requirements.
