Learn more about Keet: keet.io #### **Join Our Mission:** **Senior QA Engineer** The role focuses heavily on **test automation**, but also requires **strong manual testing skills** for complex or exploratory scenarios. The candidate will work closely with **product managers, designers, and mobile developers** to define and execute effective testing strategies that ensure **reliability, scalability, and performance** of our mobile applications. **Key Responsibilities** **Test Strategy \& Planning** * Define, design, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing mobile app features. * Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and user expectations. **Automation Development** * Build, maintain, and optimize automated test suites for iOS and Android using modern frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso). * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Bitrise). * Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain the stability of automation frameworks and test environments. **Manual \& Exploratory Testing** * Perform hands\-on testing for complex features, usability checks, and regression cycles. * Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues through the full defect lifecycle. **Performance, Reliability \& Compatibility** * Validate app performance across devices, OS versions, and network conditions. * Ensure app stability under varying load and usage scenarios. **Continuous Improvement** * Advocate for QA best practices and champion test automation and continuous testing principles. * Mentor QA engineers and contribute to scaling the QA automation infrastructure. * 5\+ years of software QA experience, with at least 3\+ years in mobile app testing (iOS \& Android). * Strong experience with mobile automation tools (Appium, XCTest, Espresso). * Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests. * Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python). * Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (Jira, Asana). * Strong knowledge of mobile app architectures, APIs, and device ecosystems. * Excellent problem\-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. ### **Preferred Qualifications:** * Performance testing, mobile network simulation, or device farms (BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, Firebase Test Lab). * Agile/Scrum experience. * Backend/API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured). * Experience with peer\-to\-peer applications.
