Learn more at bydrec.com. Our client is a **subscription\-based fitness and mobility platform** with a global community of athletes and everyday movers. Their product combines a **custom\-built Flutter mobile app (iOS/Android)** and a **WordPress/WooCommerce backend** , featuring custom REST API plugins and subscription integrations. The team is currently focused on **stabilizing and strengthening the existing platform** — fixing bugs, improving security, and ensuring smooth performance across both the app and backend, especially in subscription and in\-app purchase (IAP) workflows. **Job Description** We’re looking for a **Full\-Stack Engineer** experienced in both **Flutter/Dart** (mobile development) and **WordPress/PHP** (custom plugin and REST API development). This role will take ownership of **in\-app purchase flows (Apple/Google IAP)** and ensure they are correctly integrated with **WooCommerce/Chargebee** subscription systems. The engineer will work hands\-on resolving issues, tightening security, and improving the overall stability and reliability of the platform. **Responsibilities** * Diagnose and resolve bugs across the Flutter mobile app and WordPress/PHP backend. * Maintain and extend custom WordPress REST API endpoints consumed by the mobile app. * Ensure secure handling of authentication, tokens, and API integrations. * Maintain and troubleshoot Apple/Google IAP flows and ensure correct reconciliation with WooCommerce/Chargebee. * Support and improve subscription/payment flows across mobile and backend systems. * Collaborate on CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions) for testing and deployment. * Write clean, maintainable code following best practices for version control and secrets management. * Provide technical input on improving stability and security across the stack. **Technical Requirements** **Must\-Have Skills (Mid\-Senior Level):** * 3\+ years of professional software engineering experience. * Strong hands\-on experience with Flutter/Dart, including publishing apps to TestFlight and Google Play. * Proficiency in WordPress/PHP, including custom plugin and REST API development. * Proven experience implementing and maintaining Apple App Store and Google Play IAP flows (ideally in Flutter). * Experience with WooCommerce and subscription/payment integrations (Chargebee, Stripe, or similar). * Strong understanding of authentication, secure storage, and API security best practices. * Experience debugging and resolving issues across mobile and backend systems. * Working knowledge of Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. * Advanced English communication skills (B2\+ or C1\), both written and spoken, to effectively collaborate with a U.S.\-based team. **Desired Skills (Nice To Have)** * Familiarity with MySQL performance tuning in WordPress environments. * Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Firebase) and secrets management. * Experience with analytics integrations (Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar).
