Senior Python Engineer with PHP Experience

**Senior Back\-end Developer (Python) — PHP Knowledge a Plus** **100% remote \| PJ** *\>\>\> Only resumes in english please \<\<\<* We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is **strong in Python** (70%) and **comfortable** **with** **Laravel/PHP** (30%). You’ll help us modernize the platform: keep the current Laravel\-based product stable, and at the same time build and migrate functionality into a lighter, Python\-based application model (Django or FastAPI). **The platform being built will include a lot of agentic AI components.** This is not a pure maintenance role — we’re actively moving the architecture forward. **REQUIREMENTS** * Advanced english ( **important** ); * Professional experience with **Python** ( **Django** or **FastAPI** ); * Experience with **PHP** ( **Laravel** framework) will be a plus; * Systems architecture experience; * Experience with **hotel** / **hospitality** management systems ( **preferred** ). **TECHINCAL SKILLS** * **AI Systems:** Multi\-agent architectures and MCP protocol experience; * **Object\-Oriented Programming:** Deep understanding of OOP principles, SOLID principles, Design patterns and Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control; * **Software Architecture:** MVC, MVVM architectural patterns, RESTful API design principles and Microservices vs Monolithic architecture understanding; * **Data Structures \& Algorithms** ; * **Code Quality \& Best Practices:** Clean Code principles, DRY, KISS, etc; * **Performance \& Optimization:** Application performance and Database query optimization; * **Security:** OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and API security best practices; * **Version Control \& Workflow:** Advanced Git; * **Soft Skills \& Competencies:** Ability to work independently and make technical decisions. **NICE TO HAVE** * GCP services; * Oracle Hospitality or similar PMS integration. **WORK CONDITIONS** * Opportunities to work on diverse and challenging projects; * A supportive and collaborative team environment; * 12 vacation days per year; * 5 sick days per year; * Access to therapist and psychologist support for mental well\-being; * Competitive salary.
